A reunion of eight prominent French figures, the “National Treasures,” who reminisce about their past lives during a lunch. For Édouard Baer, this comedy allows this old group of friends to gather for the last time in a Paris that is no longer as curious and intriguing as before. The film explores the theme of friendship, which ages along with the body, turning this reunion into a farewell as well.

Most scenes were filmed at La Closerie des Lilas, the legendary brasserie in the 15th arrondissement known for hosting numerous gatherings of authors, painters, and American intellectuals since the early 20th century. The film was completed in 2 weeks, a notably short period for a feature film.
