GENRE FILM
For his second film, Mathieu Turi delves deeper into the genre of horror. He sets his plot in a confined space, a metal tube inspired by a scene from Alien by James Cameron.
The film’s main character, Lisa, is trapped in a tube filled with deadly traps, so narrow that she can’t lift her head. She must continually move forward in this almost living tube. It represents both life and death. Indeed, themes such as the light at the end of the tunnel, rites of passage, and life flashing before one’s eyes are explored both directly and psychologically.
