SUPERHEROES
This new comedy by Philippe Lacheau and his team takes inspiration from well-known American superhero films, giving audiences a sense of déjà vu while adding their trademark humorous twist. The key was to come up with an original proposal, and the parodic treatment of Reluctant Superhero, combined with the idea of memory loss, allowed them to present something new to the audience.

BATMAN OR BADMAN
The real starting point of the script is the idea of an actor shooting an action film and losing his memory, a nod to the character of Jason Bourne in “The Bourne Identity.” Philippe Lacheau and his writers felt that the dark and assassin-like aspect of the spy was a bit heavy, so they redirected towards the lighter atmosphere of superheroes. Why parody Batman? To maintain logic because he has no superpowers and relies on gadgets and combat techniques.
